Rain hits northern Qatar and there is more on the way

Northern parts of Qatar received light rain on Thursday afternoon, and there is more rain on the way, according to the Qatar Meteorology Department.
QMD has predicted rain, thunder, strong wind and high sea this weekend, with temperatures swinging from 33°C to 41°C — relatively tolerable, especially in the absence of humidity.
This summer has been typified by intense heat, humidity and lack of rain.
